How to Install ptop software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ptop software package provides transitional dummy package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ptop

ptop is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ptop package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ptop *

You will get with ptop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
